Statement I am a sophomore Psychology major and Black Studies minor. I chose to write my paper on Wangari Maathai because of my interest in Africa. I did not know much about what people were doing to help Africa become more economically successful. I thought the event was inspiring because it showed how people can help change a continent on the grassroots level. I am glad I went to this event because Wangari Maathai is a very interesting and intriguing person to learn from. |
