• Feb. 22, Tuesday at noon, Multicultural Center: Film "No Vietnamese Ever Called Me Nigger"
  Think about why US-Americans should remember negative aspects of our country's history
• Feb. 23: conversation with Holocaust survivor Nina Morecki

  6pm, MCC (free refreshments at 5pm): film about Maya Lin, designer of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, and the Civil Rights Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama
  
  7pm, 1119 Girvetz: film "Nasty Girl" about a German history student in the early 1980s (1½hours)

• Mar. 1: view the film "Confessions of a Hitler Youth" about Alfons Heck, and discuss youth in the Nazi period
• Mar. 8: discuss Holocaust museums, in preparation for our visit to the LA Museum of Tolerance
  as preparation read my illustrated essay "Experiencing the Jewish Holocaust in Los Angeles: The Beit Hashoah-Museum of Tolerance," published in an on-line journal:
