Author's Statement
I'm a second year Communications and Sociology major, and I chose to do my paper on the film After Innocence, because the topic was very interesting to me. I did not know much about the mistakes made with the conviction of criminals before watching this movie, and watching it made me much more aware of the importance of the subject. If I hadn't watched this film, I would not even have thought about this issue. Now that I know more about it, I feel glad that I am not in the dark about something that affects people in such an intense way.
