Research Seminar in Public History, 2nd quarter
Course Syllabus (1st quarter syllabus)
Introduction (jump down to schedule of meetings) The second quarter of this two-quarter graduate research seminar is devoted to working with the source material that was collected over the summer, and writing an article-length paper based on it. Emphasis is placed on source interpretation, writing, editing and presentation. A research seminar paper should be conceived so that it can become a published article or a chapter in a Ph.D. thesis.
